Bosque Chile Festival

11 am to 7 pm Join in the celebration of the chile harvest on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 at the National Hispanic Cultural Center from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. This is a free event and festivities include entertainment, kids’ activities, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, beer, wine, and chef demonstrations. Circo Radical Performance “La Vuelta”

6 pm & 8 pm This Friday, July 15th at 6pm or 8pm join the members of NHCC’s Summer Institute Circo Radical for a live circus arts performance, “La Vuelta”.  Circo Radical is the 4th program of our Summer Institutes and pairs advanced circus arts students with our team of professional circus artists and musicians. Festival Ballet Albuquerque Presents Dracula, A Love Story (Rental)

6 pm The NHCC’s new summer music and dance series in the Center’s enchanting Fountain Courtyard continues, presented in partnership with Melaza Music. Spend another Sunday evening with us enjoying live music, drinks, and the delicious Latin cuisine of Nob Hill’s Guava Tree Cafe. We have invited some of our musician friends, from the local community and outside, for lively summer get-togethers right next to the beautiful Rio Grande Bosque. La Pasión de Mariachi: Salute to Mariachi History and Excellence

5:30 pm La Pasión de Mariachi is a celebration of the art form of mariachi. The purpose is to create greater awareness, understanding and appreciation of traditional and authentic mariachi music by providing insights into the music, band member make-up, and instruments. Mariachi groups, like orchestras, are typically comprised of 18 to 20 members; many of the instruments, such as the guitarrón, are unique to this form of music. Festival Flamenco Internacional: Exposición Flamenca & New Mexico True Fiesta de Apertura
