FIFA Women’s World Cup: USA v Vietnam
NHCC Campus 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM, United States7:00 pm Doors open at 6:00 pm with food trucks and breweries on the NHCC Campus GAME 1 of the FIFA Women’s World Cup hosted at the National Hispanic Cultural Center begins! This is the ninth Women's World Cup, and it will be the biggest yet with 32 teams competing across 64 games. Come join us for the pregame festivities and kickoff. Nuestra Herencia: Genealogy Workshop for Seniors

Nuestra Herencia will provide participating seniors with the opportunity to participate in interactive tours of the NHCC Art Museum and Torreón, paired with genealogy workshops and coffee socials. This event is part of the NHCC’s Siempre Creativo program. Free Community Event, generously supported by AARP New Mexico. This workshop is instructed by Annette Gutierrez-Turk. Annette has taught this art form to groups internationally and at the NHCC for many years. She is also an award-winning artist, most recently recognized in 2019 at Santa Fe Spanish Market. Annette will demonstrate as well as answer questions. Arte Poquito
Domenici Education Building 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM, United States10:00 am Arte Poquito is a free, monthly, 45-minute program for babies and toddlers ages 0 months to 4 years and their caregivers that cultivates creativity and self-expression through the exploration of Hispanic/Latine arts and culture. Participants explore the NHCC Museum, Performing Arts Center, and engage in artmaking, music, movement, dance, drama, and bilingual story time. NHCC instructors model age-appropriate arts techniques that celebrate self-expression, build vocabulary, and strengthen both fine-motor and gross-motor skills in a fun environment. Happy Arte Hour

Siempre Creativo: Printmaking Workshops for Seniors
Domenici Education Building 1701 4th Street SW, Albuquerque, NM, United States1:30 pm – 4:00 pm Please join us for 3 consecutive weeks exploring a variety of printmaking processes with artist Carol Sanchez. We will look for creative inspiration in the NHCC Art Museum printmaking exhibition, Nexo Entre Raíces, and experiment with a different printmaking technique in the Education Building. Please wear comfortable shoes for exploring the art museum. Participating seniors may sign up for one, two, or three workshops.
