Museum Performance and Q&A with Fatemeh Baigmoradi

Join us for a performance in Because It’s Time: Unraveling Race and Place in NM with Fatemeh Baigmoradi! Fatemeh was born in 1984 in Kerman, Iran and now lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her installation and performance piece for this exhibition is titled, Watch Your Step which encourages reflection on, “…a world that has mostly come to accept and work within a system of defined and militarized borders.” The installation component of Watch Your Step is on view now in the Art Museum and Fatemeh’s performance will take place on July 7 at 2:00pm. This event is free with the purchase of museum admission.
