Albuquerque Film & Music Experience: Spare Parts Directed by Sean McNamara. Four Hispanic high school students form a robotics club. With no experience, 800 bucks, used car parts and a dream, this ragtag team goes up against the country’s reigning robotics champion, MIT. This Albuquerque Film & Music Experience feature presentation stars George Lopez, Marisa Tomei, Jamie Lee Curtis, Carlos PenaVega, José Julian, David Del Rio, Oscar Javier Gutierrez II, Alessandra Rosaldo, J.R. Villarreal, Alexa PenaVega, Steven Michael Quezada, Esai Morales and a long list of incredible New Mexico cast and crew members. The screening will be preceded by a robotics demonstration by the Albuquerque School of Excellence on the NHCC’s Plaza Mayor.
