¡Globalquerque!, Avokado Artists, and the NHCC present the International Cinema Series in September; films in this series are presented in partnership with ¡Globalquerque!, New Mexico’s Twelfth Annual Celebration of World Music and Culture, returning to the NHCC on September 23 & 24.

An irreverent, bittersweet tragicomedy by Tal Granit and Sharon Maymon about residents in a Jerusalem retirement home, including a longtime amateur inventor who is prevailed upon to build a self-euthanasia machine to help a terminally ill friend. When rumors of the machine begin to spread, the friends receive more and more requests for help, and their feelings become increasingly complicated.
