Sundays in the Museum Aith Artist Aziza Murray

August 12, 2018

2:00 pm

Join us for a tour of the exhibition, Because It’s Time, led by Aziza Murray. About her artwork, Study No.1 and Study No. 2 from the series: Whose Type? Aziza writes, “I am often mistaken for someone else, someone who “looks like” me, or asked if my sister/brother/cousin is so-and-so. My new series, Whose Type?, ponders these ideas and asks the viewer to think about and question their own biases (we all have them) and to reconsider outdated beliefs.”

Aziza will talk about her work as well as facilitate a conversation about the exhibition as a whole.

This event is free with the purchase of museum admission.
