516 ARTS, in partnership with the National Hispanic Cultural Center, welcomes acclaimed journalists Maria Hinojosa (NPR’s Latino USA) and Simon Romero (Latin American Desk, The New York Times), two of the most influential journalists exploring issues of immigration along the US-Mexico border.

This keynote talk is the final event for the two-part exhibition The US-Mexico Border: Place, Imagination, and Possibility, on view at 516 ARTS through April 14 and at the Albuquerque Museum through April 15. The exhibition originated at the Craft & Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles, where it was part of the Getty’s Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA initiative.
