Located on the second floor of the Roy E. Disney Center for Performing Arts, the PNM Rehearsal Hall and Rehearsal Hall #2 offer sprung wood floors to accommodate dance presentations, rehearsals and workshops along with dance barres, mirrors and substantial natural lighting. A full bathroom with showers and lockers is located next door.

1:30 to 3:30 pm New Mexico Folk Dance will feature 4 weeks of traditional New Mexico music with dance classes such as La Marcha. Classes run for four consecutive Thursdays from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. New Mexico Folk Dance is part of the NHCC's Siempre Creativo program, which provides a free multidisciplinary arts program for seniors. Free Community Event, generously supported by AARP New Mexico. Broadway Bound LIVE: Audition Masterclass

3:00 - 5:00 pm Join Broadway Bound LIVE hopefuls for an audition Masterclass taught by Elizabeth Gabel. Elizabeth is known for her work in casting on Stranger Things (2022), Logan (2017), Sicario (2015), and Terminator Salvation (2009), among other movies and shows. Elizabeth's deep knowledge of casting and production make her the perfect person to kick off Season 2 of Broadway Bound LIVE. This masterclass is open to members of the community. Dance Auditions: Carnaval 2022

11 am Albuquerque's CARNAVAL 2022 at the NHCC’s Roy E Disney Center for Performing Arts is scheduled for February 25th & 26th, 2022. The Odara Dance Ensemble will be holding audition Saturday, August 21st starting at 11 am at the NHCC’s PNM Rehearsal Hall . Be prepared to audition to various styles of dance, including cultural elements of Cuba, Trinidad, Brazil, and New Orleans.
