Globalquerque 2016 Free Global Fiesta

10:30am – 4pm A free fun-filled day for all ages packed with educational workshops, hands-on art activities, films, and performances.  Join us for a variety of international dance classes, a chance to play with circus equipment and musical instruments from around the world, food and crafts for sale in the Global Village, free entrance to the museum, and more!  For the full schedule, visit here.

Film: Embrace of the Serpent/El abrazo de la serpiente (Spain/Colombia)

Bosque Chile Festival

11 am to 7 pm Join in the celebration of the chile harvest on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 at the National Hispanic Cultural Center from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. This is a free event and festivities include entertainment, kids’ activities, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, beer, wine, and chef demonstrations.
