Her recordings have received multiple awards, including several Latin Grammys, and her 2013 release, La noche más larga, was nominated for a Grammy for Best Latin Jazz Album. Her latest album, Vivir sin mieda (2015), fuses elements of reggae, ragga, flamenco, R&B, Afrobeat, and gospel. She has collaborated with artists including Pat Metheny, Anoushka Shankar, Chick Corea, Bebo and Chucho Valdés, Armando Manzanero, and Nelly Furtado, and was featured in Pedro Almodóvar’s film La piel que habito.
