¡Iluminarte! 2019

The NHCC will present its second annual celebration of the small paper bag lanterns with sand and candles that some call “farolitos” and others call “luminarias”—a New Mexico tradition.  Events from 2-7 pm will include a talk about the history, facts and urban legends of the luminaria/farolito, an illuminated bike parade, create your own “iluminarte” (paper bag) workshop, a student art and writing show, and more.

All events are free and open to the public and take place on the beautifully illuminated campus of the NHCC.
