In celebration of the National Hispanic Cultural Center Art Museum’s current exhibition “House on Mango Street: Artists Interpret Community”, the NHCC welcomes back Sandra Cisneros, acclaimed author of House on Mango Street, who will read from her works and will be available to sign books afterwards.

Cisneros’s lively and animated readings have great resonance with audiences and she never fails to captivate. As she reads her very detailed descriptions and passages in her works, one can almost feel the stories come alive visually and poetically. Join us for an evening with the author and stay after to purchase books and have them signed!
