On May 5 join Robert Martinez, the Deputy State Historian of New Mexico, for his presentation “More Mexico City Roots: Digging for Ancestors in Mexican Records.” Hewill look at research into the Rivera, Leyva y Mendoza, and other families that came to settle in New Mexico in the 1700s.  Mr. Martinez is the coauthor of the four part series “Mexico City Roots: Jiron de Tejeda, Leyva y Mendoza and Afan de Ribera Families” which was published in the HGRC Herencia.
